I went to church today. I loved the singing, talks, lessons, etc. Taki Taoho and I spent some time this evening adding new families to the home-teaching routes in districts 4 and 5.

hi fellow bloggers! this is my 1st blog, and i'd like to introduce myself. i'm 55 years young...male...from boise, idaho...now living in provo, utah for the last 31 years. been married for 30 years to a wonderful lady from a ranch 30 miles nw of boise called montour, idaho. we have 2 daughters and 2 grandaughters living nearby. i have a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints is the only true and living Church on the earth now, and that The Book of Mormon is a true record of people that came to America 2600 years ago. it was translated into English by Joseph Smith, a true prophet of God. Thomas S. Monson is now our true prophet and recieves direct revalation from Jesus Christ on how to lead and direct us to live, so that we can live our lives like Jesus wants us to. we have a solemn obligation to our family's here, and our ancestors, to live a life according to the commandments of God so that we can all be together with our Father in Heaven, and His Son Jesus Christ forever with our family in Heaven after we die. i know this is true because i asked God in prayer if this is true april 6th, 1976 in boise, and i felt a burning in my bosom from the Holy Ghost telling me that it actually IS TRUE. you can do the same.....if you will read the Book of Mormon with a sincere heart, asking God if it is true, He will manifest the truth to your heart and mind by the power of the Holy Ghost.....i promise that it will happen for you as it happened to me. then, you can follow Jesus Christ by being baptized by immersion by one who has the priesthood authority to baptize you. then you can go to the Temple's around the world to do the ordinances for yourself and your family that will allow you to be together forever. and you can go back to the Temple often to do these ordinances for your deceased relatives, so they can be with you too in Heaven.
