family

I love my dear family with all my heart! We knew each other before we came to earth life, so it seems natural that we love each other here. I pray we can ALL be together when we go to the other side of the veil.....

It is my belief that Jesus Christ, the Savior and redeemer of all of us, will return again soon to dwell on this earth and reclaim His lost sheep and return them to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
I testify that the Book of Mormon is a true book. By reading it we can feel the Holy Ghost testify to our hearts and minds that Jesus is the Christ. Joseph Smith did translate it from golden plates given to him by an angel of God. You can read it free at www.mormon.org ........if you will pray to God when you read it...I promise you will know it is true!
Families can be sealed together forever (after death) in the holy Temples being built all over the earth. I look forward to being with my family after I die. My fondest wish is for my wife and children and grandchildren to live their lives so we can be together forever!
Jesus atoned for our sins if we will repent and forgive. He suffered so we don't have to if we repent. He died and rose up so we can rise up again after we die.
Thomas S. Monson is a true Prophet today. I testify of these things in the Holy name of Jesus Christ....Amen Thomas Terry Bassett

My Church !

Foundation upon Which Church Is Built

Posted: 22 Jun 2009 12:00 AM PDT

"Joseph Smith was not only a great man, but he was an inspired servant of the Lord, a prophet of God. His greatness consists in one thing—the truthfulness of his declaration that he saw the Father and the Son and that he responded to the reality of that divine revelation. . . ."For the first time in eighteen hundred years, God had revealed himself as a personal being. Furthermore, the Father and the Son demonstrated the undeniable truth that they are separate and distinct personages. Indeed, the relationship of the Father and the Son was reaffirmed by the divine introduction to the boy prophet, 'This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him.' (JS—H 1:17.) Those who were baptized into the Church on the sixth of April, 1830, believed in the existence of a personal God; they believed that his reality and the reality of his Son, Jesus Christ, constitute the eternal foundation upon which this Church is built."Once we accept Christ as divine, it is easy to visualize his Father as being just as personal as he. Christ said, 'He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.' (John 14:9.) Faith in the existence of a divine and real and living personal God was the first element that contributed to the perpetuity of the Church of Jesus Christ in ancient times, and it is the everlasting foundation upon which The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is built today."

DNA

I just attatched Mavis' fathers DNA testing results to our family trees at Ancestry.com. We are excited that her father Thomas Alvin Hadley consented to have his DNA saved for posterity and genealogical research before he died in 2005. He was and is a great man, husband, and father.

What a wonderful thing this new science is that will tie the whole human family together in time. You can do a free test too at www.smgf.org .....
